I am a certified Teacher in both MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and Mindfulness for children – Paws B & dot B (Mindfulness in Schools Project, UK) as well as a Meditation and Yoga teacher.
I was born and raised in Peru, and before coming to Israel, I lived for 23 years in Switzerland.
I worked as a psychosocial counselor in many education centers and social institutions. I worked in children’s homes and boarding schools. My role was to help families and children find new and different ways of managing their lives.
In 2013, after many years in this profession, I was searching for new tools to help myself, my work colleagues and clients. I got introduced to mindfulness. Shortly after that, I decided to go deeper into the practice. I experienced its positive effects and benefits. I realized it could help us all live in a way that empowers us to take control of our own lives, rather than to let life circumstances be in control.
I truly believe mindfulness is a way of living that can be also for you.
